Making a Molecular Workbench account:
If you don't already have the MW Java applet on your computer, click here to download the Molecular Workbench app. Ignore any warning you might get about keeping the applet.
Execute the applet and provide your HTH user name and password information if you get a proxy server connection message.
If you get a firewall warning, have Dr. Don come to your computer to get through the firewall (this should not happen if you are doing this from home).

Click on the "My MW Space" button (outlined in red). It will bring you to the MW login screen:
Click on the "New User?" button to begin the process of registering yourself as a new MW user. Use "dmackay" (case sensitive) as the user ID of your teacher (this is very important). Please don't use a password for this account that you use for other accounts. These passwords are not very secure (that is, others may be able to steal them easily - you don't want to have an important password stolen).
Once you have logged in to your account, begin working on either of the tutorials in the activity list. You have today and Monday to get through them. Keep in mind that the principles taught in these activities are needed to complete the homework. Keep them close by as you work through the activities.
